15th Installment of PM Kisan Yojna is Released by PM Narendra Modi to the Eligible Farmers in India on November 15, 2023
Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 15th installment of PM-Kisan scheme to more than 8 crores farmers, worth over Rs 18,000 crore on November 15, 2023.
What is PM Kisan Yojana
PM Kisan Yojana (PMKSNY), also known as Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, is a central government scheme that provides income support to small and marginal farmers in India. By Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this scheme was launched on February 24, 2019. Registered Farmers under the PM Kisan scheme receive a sum of Rs. 6,000 per year in three installments of Rs. 2,000 each. On November 15, 2023 PM Modi released the 15th installment. Eligible farmers will receive Rs 2,000 as the 15th installment under the scheme. Under the scheme, till now, more than Rs. 2.62 lakh crores have been transferred to the famers’ accounts in 14 instalments.”
During his Jharkhand visit on Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 15th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme during the ‘Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas’ and launch a ₹24,000 crore project aimed at the development of the Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs).

But, to get the PM Kisan money, registered farmer should update their eKYC to receive Rs 2,000 installment. According to the PM Kisan website, “eKYC is mandatory for Registered Farmers under the PM Kisan scheme. On PM Kisan website, OTP Based eKYC is available or you can go to your nearest CSC centres may be contacted for Biometric based eKYC.”
How to update eKYC online
- To update your eKYC, first go to the official website of PM-Kisan.
- On right side of the page you will see the eKYC option, click on that.
- After that enter your Aadhaar Card number. Below you will see the captcha code, enter that and click on search.
- Then, enter the mobile number linked with your Aadhaar card and click on ‘Get OTP’.
- After that you will receive an OTP to your linked mobile number, enter that OTP in the specified field.
How to check your PM Kisan’s installment is credited or not online
- To check your PM Kisan’s installment credited to your account or not, first go to the official PM KISAN portal – https://pmkisan.gov.in/
- After that under ‘Farmers corner’, you will see the option ‘Beneficiary Status’, click on that.
- Then, enter your Aadhaar card number, account number or mobile number, and enter the captcha code below.
- After that click on the ‘Get Status’ tab and your accounts detail status will be displayed depending on the beneficiary’s details. Your name should be on the beneficiary list to receive the amount.
How to check your name in PM KISAN beneficiary list
- To check your name in beneficiary list in PM Kisan, first visit the PM Kisan official website – https://pmkisan.gov.in/
- In the right corner of the page you will see the ‘Beneficiary list’ tab, click on that.
- From drop down menu you can select details such as select state, district, sub-district, block, and village
- After that click on the ‘Get report’ tab and the details of the beneficiary list will be displayed.
