The application for admission to +2 for the current academic year will begin from May 24. Students can apply through the SAMS portal. A formal notification in this regard has been issued by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education. It states that applications for registration in +2 will begin on May 24 and end on June 30.
The first merit list will be published on July 7. After that, admission will be held from July 8 to 14, and the classes of the second year students will start from July 24. It is worth noting that this year, the matriculation result was 94.93 percent. While the pass rate of the boys is 94 percent, the pass rate of the girls is 96 percent.
This year, 5 lakh 2 thousand 417 students took the matric examination. Out of which 4 lakh 84 thousand 863 passed. Out of them, 1812 got A1 grade, while 12,200 got A2 grade. Similarly, 38 thousand 831 students got B1 grade, 84,971 students got B2 grade and 133,882 students have got C grade. 146,154 students have got D grade, 76,013 students have got E grade and 7,384 students have got F grade.This year, Gajapati district has the highest pass rate of 99.35 percent, while Koraput district has the lowest pass rate of 92.83 percent.
