One Person Died in America After Eating Carrots | CDC Warns People Not to Eat Carrots

Bad food is harmful to the body. which harms the body. However, such an incident has come to light from America. One person died in America after eating carrots and 15 others were seriously injured. However, all the serious ones have been admitted to the hospital. After that, carrots were ordered to be recalled from all stores in the United States. However, this decision was made due to the outbreak of E-coli bacteria in the United States.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued a warning on Sunday about organic carrots sold by Grimmway Farms in major supermarkets. The CDC said in its statement that there have been 39 cases of carrot-related E. coli infections in 18 states in the United States so far. Since then, the CDC has warned people not to eat carrots. The CDC said the affected carrots are no longer available in US stores. But it can be in people’s homes which needs to be thrown away first.

According to the US Food and Drug Administration, Grimmaway Farms has also been asked to voluntarily recall carrots from stores in Canada and Puerto Rico because of the carrot outbreak in the United States. Grimmway Farms, based in California, issued a press release on Saturday. In which the company said, “The company is reviewing its farming and harvesting practices.”

What is an E. coli Bacterial Infection?

According to the CDC, the infection is caused by the Escherichia coli (E.cloi) bacteria. Most of its forms live in the intestines of humans and animals and are not harmful but there are some E. coli bacteria that can be life-threatening if ingested. It can increase the risk of gastrointestinal diseases. The main symptoms of this virus include dehydration, vomiting, abdominal pain and fever.
