Google Chrome is one of the mostly use browser developed by Google. Google Chrome help you to get more out of your browser and also stay productive. You can also use chromes search bar as a calculator, you can quickly convert your currencies across the world. You can easily check weather updates in search bar and also work as a translator.
Chrome browser was first released in 2008 for Microsoft windows. It was first build with free software from Apple Web Kit and Mozilla Firefox. Later it changed to Linux, macOS, iOS and Android and work as a default browser.
But users are always concerned about their privacy while using Chrome browser on various platforms. Google Chrome going to launch a privacy guide for its user. Google Chrome is now allows their users to have more control to their privacy settings. It is like organic vulnerability, chrome will collected your data to make your user experience more personalized and making amendments to suit the needs of users. This privacy feature also claim your browsing experience much better and also better your searches. This feature is still under process and will be more efficient with time or its future may be depends entirely on user experience. Company released a notification to its user to update their chrome browser to use the sync feature.
Company only started testing this privacy feature on desktop version of browser. In some days company will bring this feature for android device as well.
Due to feature is under development you can found couple of toggles within this section. First toggle says ‘make searches and browsing better’. It share how many site you visited there URLs and chrome usage and report to Google. In this feature it enables your browsing faster and it improves the suggestion in address bar. Second toggle is synchronized your history and also let synchronize your browsing history of all devices you sign in the same Google account. This feature is hidden behind flag for now. Lets hope this feature to be rolled out to Chrome.
For now how can you enable this feature in android smartphone. For this you have to launch the Google Chrome browser on your android smartphone. In address bar you have to type Chrome://flags, then search ‘privacy’. Scroll down for ‘privacy review’, then select ‘Enabled’ and restart your browser.
After that comes to the 3 dot. Click on that and select ‘settings’. In settings click on ‘privacy and security’. After that tap on ‘privacy guide’. Then you can follow the instructions and enables this privacy feature and protect the chrome browser. You can also disable this option if you going through the same instructions.
1. Make search and browsing better
If you toggle ‘make search and browsing better’ you will get improved suggestions in adress bar and also your browsing will faster when you share how many websites you visited and usage of chrome with Google.
2. History Sync
When you clicked in to ‘history sync’. In this when you sign into chrome with your Google account , your history of browsing will be synchronized with all the device you sign in the same Google account. In this feature one card will appear. When you use Google as a default search engine in this card you will get contextually, better and relevant suggestions.
This feature is on experimental stage and may or may not make Google Chrome stable or it can be disappear at any time.
