The Wait is Finally Over, for Indian Users Meta is finally rolling out the verified program for Instagram and Facebook. Indian Users can now get Meta Verified Instagram and Facebook accounts. For both android and iOS Meta Verified for both Facebook and Instagram could cost in the range of Rs. 699 per month. Along with the mandatory blue tick, the paid subscription model comes with several extra features like a direct line of support, enhanced account security, etc.

For both android and iOS Meta Verified for both Facebook and Instagram could cost of Rs. 699 per month. The new service will authenticate accounts using any of the government ID proof and after successful verification users will get the blue tick mark on their profile.
Meta has also plans to launch this service for web users for Rs 599 per month. If you want to use Meta Verified on both Facebook and Instagram, you just need to sign up for each app separately, according to Meta.
Eligibility Criteria And Terms and Conditions For Verification​
Before submitting an application for a verified badge, you need to confirm that your account
satisfies all the requirements. In order to sign up for the Meta Verified service:
- users must be 18 years old or above
- Must have a government issued ID card, such as an Aadhar Card or a driver’s license and most importantly the name on the government ID should match the Facebook and Instagram name you are using.
- Before granting a blue tick in your Instagram and Facebook accounts, Meta would also check user’s posting history.
- For celebrities and public accounts, eligibility and requirements must be met and accordingly, traditional badges can be retained. But verification process is supposed to become uniform for everybody in the future.
Process Of Verification
To get started with the process of verification, first you have to open Facebook or Instagram app on your device. After that go to the user’s profile on Facebook or Instagram, then click on Settings option and in setting go to the Accounts Center. Here you have to choose the Meta Verified option. To see the option, your app must be updated to its latest version. If you are qualify for verification, Meta Verified will be listed under your name.
Payment Method
Using your preferred payment method you can make the monthly payment. You have to upload a selfie video and one of your govt. issued photo ID for verification. At least one post in the feed along with profile picture and bio are required for your account. Once you submitted the verification request, then Meta authenticates the information and after that a blue tick will appear in your account. If you have both Facebook and Instagram accounts it will show in both or the one account you applied for the blue tik will be showed.
