Check IMEI Number Of Your iPhone

To check the IMEI number of your device, go to your iPhone Settings. In General settings go to About, here you can swipe down to IMEI and see the IMEI number of your device.

Check On Apple’s Device Coverage Page To Validate Purchase

To perform this check, first you need the serial number of your iPhone and for that go to your iPhone Settings, then tap on About, scroll down and see the 10-digit serial number of that iPhone. Now you can copy the serial number and go to Apple’s device coverage page on Apple website https://checkcoverage.apple.com/in/en/. Here you can paste serial number of your device in serial number search box. After that enter the verification code and click on submit. After clicking on submit you can wait for few seconds so that apple can get the information from its database for your iPhone. The result should validate your iPhone’s purchase date and should show active for ‘Repairs and Service Coverage’, and ‘Telephone Technical Support’. Now you can see the coverage status of your iPhone. The model and purchase date of your iPhone will displayed here. If both the model and purchase date are accurate, then your device is genuine. If there is no information of your device with that serial number, then it’s probably a counterfeit.
