How To Sign Up On Thread
- First you have to download this “Threads” app from either Play Store or App Store, and install it to your device.
- After that launch the app and select your Instagram account, instantly you will be signed into your Threads account. If you don’t have an Instagram account then you have to create an account to use this app. Through your Instagram account you can instantly signed into your account. You just have to press on continue button.
- After that you are given an option to add your profile picture, bio and a link. Before you’re directed to your Threads feed, if you want, you can also import all this information from your Instagram account.
- Next you can choose your privacy preference of your account, either private or public.
- After that you can follow the accounts that you want. By default your Threads app suggest you the accounts to follow that based on following lists of your Instagram. At a starting point you will notice that your feed will be full with random users’ content.

The main charm of these two micro-blogging apps Twitter and Threads is limited character count. With Twitter it has 280 characters and beyond that , in same thread either you can write another post or you can start a new thread.
In case of Threads, character limit is 500, that means you can write more and express better on Thread than Musk’s Twitter app.
Account Creation
To create an account on Threads you should have an Instagram account. You can’t sign up Threads without Instagram account because while setting up your Threads account, this app ask you to select your Instagram account. That means Threads access to only the existing user base of Instagram.
On the other hand Twitter doesn’t have such
requirement. You can sign up directly on Twitter, it doesn’t need any additional app.
What’s Trending
Twitter is a popular platform around the world. In homepage of the Twitter you will find the “Trending” tab. When you tap on that tab , it will show you the lists of trending hashtags and topics all over the world.

Account Deletion
If you want to delete your Threads account, you may have to delete your Instagram account too. That means you have to sign an all-in deal, when you join Threads.
In case of Twitter, you can easily deactivate or delete your Twitter account. First you can deactivate your account, then delete it. With in 30 days if you are not reactivate your Twitter account, then it’s get deleted permanently.
