- If you want to generate your ATM PIN using ATM machine, then visit the nearest ATM of the respective bank.
- Then, insert your ATM card in ATM Machine and choose the option “Change PIN” or “Generate ATM PIN”.
- Usually, depending upon the bank, there are three methods of verification
- Firstly, you might be required to enter the temporary ATM PIN provided by the bank at the time of account opening or later received by post.
- You can also verify your account using OTP authentication. The OTP is sent to the registered mobile number. You have to enter the OTP to generate ATM PIN.
- You might also be required to enter your registered mobile number and account number to generate ATM PIN easily.
- After your request is verified, you can set the PIN.
Generate PIN Through Net Banking
- If you are registered for internet banking for the account that is linked to the debit card, then by using net banking portal you can generate your ATM PIN.
- To generate the ATM PIN using the net banking, first you have to log in to your account using your username and password.
- First choose the bank account then choose the option “ATM Card Services”.
- Then, click on the option “Generate New ATM” and enter your ATM PIN that you want.
- After that an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number for verification.
- Once the account is verified, you will be able to use the new ATM PIN.
- You can also log into the mobile banking app to generate the ATM PIN by following the above steps.
Other Different Methods to Generate ATM PIN
- Generate the ATM PIN by calling the customer care number of the respective bank.
- Through SMS you can also generate your ATM PIN. Specified number is there for SMS banking, you can send the message code using the number and generate the PIN.
- You can also generate your ATM PIN by visiting your nearest bank.
