How To Activate Google Pay Bank Account
If you are either moving to a new phone or reset your phone or after deleting, going to reinstall Google Pay app in to your phone, then you need to restore your Google Pay bank accounts. Otherwise, your all Google Pay data including your transaction history will be gone. To restore your Google pay account, you need to follow some basics steps and activate your account to make a transaction. After reactivating your account, you can be able to make any transactions on Google Pay.
- First download Google Pay application from Google Play Store and install it to your device.
- After that open the Google Pay app and enter your registered mobile number to verify it.
- Next, if you have multiple Google Account in your phone, then while registration you need to select your Google Account that linked with your Google Pay account,
- After selected your Email address you will be verified by the OTP that sent to your registered mobile number.
- When your mobile number verified by Google Pay, you can then secure your account by a password. You can get two options to secure your Google Pay account, one is Use your Screen Lock and the other is Create Google PIN.
- Select any option to secure your Google pay and click on Continue. After selecting your Google Pay secure options, at the top of your screen you will see the Restore Accounts option. Tap on Restore to activate the account.
- After click on Restore you will see the number of bank accounts which is linked to your Google Pay account. The account you want to reactivate, you just have to select that bank account. You can add multiple bank accounts in Google Pay and can activate all accounts but you an activate one account at a time.
- When you select the bank accounts you will be able to see the account information like Name, Mobile Number & UPI IDs. Below you will see the options to activate your account click on it to reactivate.
- After clicking on activate, Google Pay will verify your mobile number with partner bank and activate your bank account.
- After that a screen will appear with the option Activate account, tap on that and your account will be restored.
- Next, a screen will appear in which you can see your mobile number is verified and the bank is activated. Your Google pay bank account is now activated and you can use it for various purposes.
