How to Create a Close Friends List?
- To create close friends lists on Instagram, open Instagram your Instagram app on your mobile and go to your profile at the bottom right corner.
- Open your profile and tap the three horizontal line at the upper right corner, a Setting Menu will open.
- From Menu, scroll down and select the option ‘Close Friends’ under who can see your content section.
- Open Close Friends option and search for who you want to add to the list.
- Tap on the account you want to add and then select ‘Done’ and that account will be added to your Close Friends list.
- Once you’ve done this, only the people on your Close Friends list can see the content you share exclusively with them.
How to Share Posts With Close Friends Only?
- To share feed posts to only your close friends, first open the Instagram app.
- Tap on the plus icon present at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the photos and videos from your camera roll to add to your post, or you can take a new photo or video by tapping on the camera icon on the right.
- Then, tap on Next at the top right and if you want edit your post, tap on ‘Edit’ below Tap on ‘Done’ when you have finished your editing.
- When you are ready to share your Post, tap on the ‘Audience’ option.
- Then, select ‘Close Friends’ and click on ‘Done’ button below.
- Finally, tap on ‘Share’ to share your Post with your close friends only.
How to Share Stories With Close Friends Only?
- To share Stories with close friends on Instagram, first open the Instagram app.
- Tap on the plus icon present at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap on the Story option at the bottom.
- You can either take a photo, or tap and hold to record a video or by swiping up anywhere on the screen you can choose a photo from your phone’s gallery.
- When you are ready to share your Story, tap on the Close Friends option present at the bottom.
How to Share Reels With Close Friends Only?
- To share a Reel with close friends only, open the Instagram app.
- Tap the ‘plus’ icon present at the bottom of the screen.
- At the bottom scroll to the ‘Reel’ option.
- Now, create a reel and when you are ready to share, tap the ‘Audience’ option.
- Then, select the ‘Close Friends’ option and then click on ‘Share’.
