Railways Festive Offers: More than 12,000 Special Trains to Run on Diwali and Chhath! 20% Discount on Return journey

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s big announcement on the occasion of Diwali and Chhath Puja. More than 12,000 special trains will run during Diwali and Chhath. Four more Amrit Bharat Express trains will run from Bihar. Similarly, Vande Bharat Express trains will run between Purnia and Patna. This decision was taken after discussions with Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, MP Sanjay Jaiswal, Union Minister Lalan Singh and MP Sanjay Kumar Jha.
The Railway Minister said that with the two big festivals of Diwali and Chhath coming up, special arrangements have been made for railway passengers. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, more than 12,000 special trains will be run. Passengers who will travel onward between October 13 and 26 and those who will travel return between November 17 and December 1 will get a 20 percent discount on their return journey. This will benefit railway passengers.
Apart from this, four Amrit Bharat Express trains will run between Gaya and Delhi, Shatabdi to Amritsar, Chapra to Delhi and Muzaffarpur to Hyderabad. A new circuit train for the middle class will run through the holy place of Lord Buddha, which will travel through Baisali, Hajipur, Sonepur, Patna, Rajgir, Gaya, Koderma. In addition, the railway section from Buxar to Lakhisarai will be made into four lines so that more trains can run. A ring railway will be arranged around Patna. It will connect Sultanganj and Deoghar. New trains will run from Patna to Ayodhya. Many new road overbridges have been approved in Bihar, work will also be done on this, said Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
