Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari has made a big announcement. According to a report, Nitin Gadkari said that ‘a new toll policy is going to be implemented across the country.’ It can be implemented in the next 10 to 15 days. The Union Minister also said that ‘in the near future, all toll plazas across the country will be removed’.
In addition, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said at an event that ‘physical toll booths will be removed from various parts of the country very soon’. Along with this, information about the new toll policy was also given. Nitish Gadkari further said, ‘I will not say much about it now, but I can say that the Government of India is going to implement a new toll policy in the next 15 days.’
According to a report, Nitin Gadkari said that ‘with the implementation of the new system, toll will be deducted automatically through satellite tracking’. He also said that vehicle number plates will be identified through satellite and toll will be deducted automatically.
