Online Shopping: Cancellation of an Orders can be Expensive
Who doesn’t like to shop online these days? Now most of the people are sitting at home and ordering things according to their choice through online shopping and the items arrive at home within few days of ordering. Similarly, if you do not want to buy the item we have ordered, then we have the option to cancel the said order. But, in future canceling an order can be expensive.
According to reports, major e-commerce platforms like Flipkart and Myntra are planning to introduce such a policy and if this policy comes, the cancellation policy of Flipkart may change. Till now this company does not charge any money for order cancellation. But the company may introduce such a policy in the near future. So that if the customer cancels any order, he will be charged. It has also been said in many places that Flipkart and Myntra cancellation fee of Rs.20 will have to be paid.
Similarly, the company started putting a plastic tag on the packaging due to the order cancellation a few days ago. And if that tag is not on the packaging then the product is not returnable. However, now Flipkart has not clarified anything about this policy. But the report said that sellers and delivery partners will benefit from this decision. So the company is going to do it. However, it will be clear only when Flipkart and Myntra formally announce the rules regarding order cancellation fees.
