PM Shri School started in Odisha. Two schools in each block and urban area of Odisha will be developed into PM Sri Schools. The MoU was signed in the presence of Minister of State for Education Jayant Chaudhary and Odisha Education Secretary for the opening of PM Shri schools in the state.
These schools will function in full spirit of the National Education Policy and will exhibit all the basic elements. This will serve as an example for all schools. These schools will reflect the curriculum and teaching methods recommended by the National Education Policy, and enhance the skills of teachers in one school. It will be implemented in the state under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Around 800 schools in the state are planned to be developed into PM Shri Schools.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s priority is the PM Shree School Scheme. PM Shree School is a significant step towards implementing the vision of the National Education Policy. It will focus on innovation-based, new technologies, smart classrooms and sports and other aspects. It is said that this initiative will benefit lakhs of students in Odisha and it has been said that quality education will be ubiquitous and universal.
