According to the Free Ration Scheme of the Government of India, 90 crore people of the country are being given free ration. It is also the government’s aim to improve the living conditions of the people. While many government benefits are available in the ration card, there have been cases of some rich people misusing the ration card. As of now, 49 lakh beneficiaries have not yet registered.
