How to Check your Back up is Enabled?
- You can check if your backups enabled by opening your Settings of Android phone.
- Scroll down and tap on “Accounts & backup”.
- Here, you will see the option ‘Back up data’. One under the device manufacturer and other under Google drive. You can either choose your device manufacturer backup or you can back up through Google.

Factory Reset

- Scroll down and select “General management.”
- Tap on Reset below.
- Then select Factory data reset. A page will open with all the information.
- Below you will see the blue “Reset” button, tap on that and then tap on “Delete All”.
Complete the process to Reset your Android as if it’s a brand new device, then you will be able to setup your Android with your saved back up.
How to Setup your Device?
- To the basic setup your device including connect to the Wi-Fi. When you see the option “can’t use old device”, select it.
- Login to your account where your backup were saved.
- Then choose the back up you want to restore. Wait for your back up to loaded on to your device.
- Once it has been loaded, the data that is stored in your saved back up will be restored to your device.
Recover Deleted Text
Open your message app and the text you wanted to recover should be there if they were in the back up you have just restored.
