Subhadra Yojana: Know Who Won’t Get the Subhadra Money; Even if They Applied, Their Name Will be Cut Off

On November 24th, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi released the third phase of the first installment of Subhadra money from Sundargarh. Rs. 5000 each has transferred to the accounts of more than 20 lakh women. The money has already gone to the accounts of 80 lakh women after 20 lakh women of the 3rd phase. The Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida has announced that the rest of the women will get money soon. So who won’t get the Subhadra money and even if they applied, their name will be cut off. Who Won’t Get the Subhadra Money Even if They Applied?

  • Women who fulfill any of the following criteria will be ineligible for benefits under the scheme. Or their names will be deleted.
  • The age of women to be included in Subhadra Yojana must not be less than 21 years. Similarly, no woman above 60 years of age can join the Subhadra Yojana. If they have applied then the name will be cut off.
  • Similarly, if a woman is receiving assistance of Rs.15,000 or more per month or Rs.18,000 or more per year from any state or central government scheme such as pension, scholarship, etc., she will not be considered eligible for Subadha money.
  • A woman herself or her own family members who are current or former MPs or Assembly members cannot be covered under the Subhadra scheme.
  • Those who are paying income tax cannot be included in this scheme.
  • Those who are elected public representatives in any Urban Local Body or Panchayat Raj Institution (except Ward Members, Local Councillors) then they cannot be involved.
  • Any undertaking/board/local body under the Government of India or State Government. or appointed as an organisation/regular/permanent/contractual employee or receiving pension after retirement.
  • All salaried employees and all/employees engaged through outsourcing agencies will be considered ineligible under the scheme if they fulfill all other criteria of the scheme.
  • If the applicant’s family has more than 5 acres of irrigated land and more than 10 acres of non-irrigated land, they will not be able to get Subhadra money.
  • Similarly, 4-wheelers other than tractors, mini-trucks, small commercial vehicles and other similar light goods vehicles will not be eligible for subsidy.
