Reasons For The Drop In Viewership
- Elimination of some top teams in the group stage itself can be the one of the reason for the lesser viewers. Some popular teams like Team Mortal, GodNixon, Ghatak, Vaadhi, and Mavi were eliminated in the group stage
- The Launch Party of 2021 received some backlash for not being very inclusive of local creators with just 18 teams participating. On the other hand, the BGMI Rising, featured an impressive 64 teams.
- The primary reason for drop in viewership might be the 10-month ban period of BGMI. That has unquestionably pulled a lot of players away from the game.
- In any case, BGMI at present has near no rivalry in the Indian games industry. New games like CoD Mobile and New State Mobile haven’t exactly gotten in that frame of mind while other different opponents like Zenith Legends Mobile have shut down.
- Thus, the game is impeccably ready to regain its past glory. Moreover, third-party tournaments like Skyesports Champions Series with Rs.25 lakhs prize pool are already lined up to get it going from June 9.
