There has been a large-scale terrorist attack in Pakistan. Terrorists have opened fire in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to preliminary reports, 38 people died.
According to reports, terrorists attacked a passenger van while it was traveling in Down Kurram area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 38 people lost their lives. In addition, 29 people were injured. It has been reported that police personnel are among the injured.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Secretary Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry explained the terror attack. Among the dead are women and small children, the death toll is expected to increase further, Nadeem said.
Another officer informed the media, “Two passenger vans were coming from opposite directions. One was going from Peshawar to Parachinar while the other was going from Parachinar to Peshawar. Meanwhile, terrorists opened fire on the two vans and 38 passengers were killed.”
On the other hand, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned the incident. “Such attacks on innocent people are inhumane,” he said.
