If you want to watch a Story of someone on Instagram but you don’t want them to know that you have seen the Story, then go through this article. In this article you are going to know some methods to view someone’s Instagram Story without them knowing.
Method 1
Swipe to See the Story
- Open Instagram app on your mobile and above the screen you will see the account those who have put stories with in 24 hours.
- If you want to see the Story of someone without leaving seen, then first open the story from the left side of that Story you want to view and then you will swipe with your finger from right to left side until you can see the Story of that person but don’t open the Story completely.
- You need to hold your finger, view the Story and then exit the Story section. This way your view won’t be registered in their viewers list but you still saw the Story.
Method 2
By Turning Off the Internet Connection
- Open the Notification center on android or incase of iPhone open the Control center.
- Turn off your Wi-Fi connection or the mobile data, then enable Airplane mode.
- After this you can open Story of the person and view their Story but their is one more thing that you will do exit the Story.
- Before you enable Wi-Fi again and connect to the internet will exit the Instagram application from your app switcher completely.
- When you do that you can disable airplane mode and enable internet connection.
Method 3
Watch Story from Web Browser
- Open web browser on your mobile and type anonymous Story viewer.
- You will see couple of different search results in Google but you can open the first or second links because they will do the job.
- All you have to do is to simply enter the username of the profile on which you want to view the Story without leaving seen.
- However, this works only on Instagram profile that are set in public. If you want to view that on a private account this will not work. You can easily view someones Story through browser and they will not know that you saw it.
Method 4
Create New Account to View Story
- If you don’t want people to see your original account when you view their story on Instagram, then you can create a new account with another name. You can easily create a new Instagram profile.
- Once you have created a new profile, switch to that account and simply follow that person.
- After following them you can go over to their profile and watch their Stories.
- Do not use the account for any bad purposes, otherwise Instagram will suspend your account.
