The process to order food on Zomato is extremely easy. To order food through Zomato, first you have to download the Zomato app and install it to your phone. Open the app, in home page you will be shown several cuisines, offers and combos. If don’t have the Zomato app, then you can open the website on your web browser and login to the website.
At the top of the homepage you will see a search bar. Search for the food type you would like to have. In this app you can see the wide variety of food and restaurants available. Enter the name of the dish. After you enter the dish you will get a large number of restaurants in which the food or the cuisine is available. For example if you want to eat burger, Zomato will show you the outlets that available for dining, delivery etc. click on the outlet from where you want to order. You can also enter the name of the restaurant you wish to order from.
After select the restaurant menu of the restaurant will open up. Select your food item on the menu that you want to order and click on add icon against the item. Here you can see the description, price, size or quantity of the item. Select the quantity of the item by clicking on the (+) icon located at the right bottom of the screen. In bottom of the page you will see a pop-up. Click on the ‘View cart’ located at the bottom of right corner. On the pop- up page, you will see the details of your order. After select your dish click on the ‘next’ button at the bottom of the screen.
Next Zomato App will ask you to select the address. Previously if you have not added the address then you have to add the address. It is also important to check the location and address selected, the outlet or restaurant deliver to that address or not. Fill the detailed address along with your pin code and also add the nearest landmarks to find your house for easy home delivery and click on save address. Next click on ‘Place order’ tab present in the right bottom corner of the screen. Here, you can also check the payment method. Next , if you chose to pay online, you will asked to complete the payment and you will receive the notification from food outlets or restaurant of acceptance or rejection.
