But before that make sure you are running the latest version of iOS which is iOS 18.
How iOS 18 Help to Reduce Motion Sickness?
- Open Settings on your iPhone.
- Under the General section, tap on the option ‘Accessibility.’
- Once you get to the Accessibility page, under the Vision section, tap on the ‘Motion’.
- On Motion page you will see the option ‘Show Vehicle Motion Cues’.
- When you enable this option ‘Dots’ appear near the edges of your iPhone screen and those dots will follow the movement of the vehicle and may help to reduce the motion sickness.
- Tap on this ‘Show Vehicle Motion Cues’ and you will see the options ‘On’ and ‘Off.’
- You can also have the ‘Automatic’ option as well, which will detect if you are currently in a vehicle and it will activate the dots automatically.
- You can enable the ‘Vehicle Motion Cues’ option by tapping the ‘On’ option and you will see a couple of dots at the left and right sides of the screen.
- These dots will detect the movement of your vehicle whether that’s a car, bike or whichever vehicle you are using and it will try to balance that movement by moving these dots over the screen.
- These dots should help you to look at your iPhone screen without any issues and it should reduce the motion sickness if you had it before while travelling.
