8 New Kendriya Vidyalayas to Open in Odisha: Check the Full List

Good news for Odisha. The central government has taken steps for the progress of education. As a result, more central school are going to be opened in Odisha. The cabinet has approved the new central school.

8 more Kendriya Vidyalayas will be opened in Odisha. It is known that there will be central schools in Titilagarh and Patnagarh. Similarly, this school is going to be opened in Talcher and Athmallik in Angul, Kuchinda in Sambalpur, ITBP campus in Khordha along with central schools in Kamakhyanagar and Jaipur. A total of 85 central schools will be opened in the country. 5,872 crore rupees will be spent in 8 years for 85 schools. There will be 960 students study in each school. 63 teachers and staff will be employed in each school.

The Union Education Minister said that PM Shri Yojana has been implemented in Central Schools to implement the new education policy which will be applicable in the new schools as well. The Cabinet also approved setting up of 28 new Navodaya Vidyalayas in the backward districts of the country under the Navodaya Vidyalaya scheme. The Union Cabinet on Friday approved the opening of new Central and Navodaya schools in the country. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that 85 new central school will be opened in the country.Till date there are 1,256 functioning central schools in the country, including 3 outside the country namely Moscow, Kathmandu and Tehran. 13.56 lakh (approx) students are studying in this central school.
