Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling cleared the confusion over Ayushman Yojana. The Health Minister has given detailed information on how the beneficiaries will get the benefits and use the Ayushman card.
A total of 3.5 crore people from 1 crore 3 lakh families in Odisha will benefited from this scheme. Those who have comes under National Food Security Scheme, State Food Security Scheme, Antyodaya Scheme, Naveen Card and Ration Card beneficiaries can get the benefits of Ayushman Yojana. 2 lakh families who do not have ration card names will also get the benefits of the scheme.
Who will Get the Benefits of Ayushman Card?
- 1.3 crore families will get the benefits of Ayushman Yojana and Gopabandhu Jan Arogya Yojana.
- A total of 3.5 crore people will get the benefits of Ayushman Yojana.
- More than 23 lakh people above 70 years of age will get benefited.
- 6 lakh of them will get the cards online.
- Income tax payers above 70 years of age will also get Ayushman cards.
- If the family member is above 70 years of age, they will get the additional benefit of Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman Vay vandana Yojana.
- If the family is under National Food Security Yojana, then the card will be available.
- Benefits will be available even if you are registered in the State Food Security Scheme.
- Beneficiaries those who have received Naveen cards can also avail the benefits of the scheme.
- 2 lakh families who do not have their name in ration card will also get benefits from the scheme
- If you have Antyodaya Yojana card, then also you will get the Ayushman card.
- Even if you do not have a Ayushman card, you will get benefits under the scheme by providing your Aadhaar number.
Under this Ayushman yojana, govt will provide health care worth Rs 5 lakh per family and additional Rs 5 lakh for women and Asha didi will distribute this Ayushman cards door to door.
