The war between Iran and the US has intensified once again. The US military has attacked various cities in Iran for the ninth consecutive day. India has advised Indian citizens planning to travel to Iran during this time to postpone their trips. The Indian embassy in Tehran issued its travel advisory.
The advisory has urged Indians already in Tehran to leave the country using commercial flights. The embassy said, “In recent days, there has been an increase in the level of instability and conflict in Iran. Indian nationals planning to travel to Iran for any purpose should postpone their travel until the security situation improves.” In addition, the embassy said that Indian citizens already in Iran should consider using available flight options to leave Iran for a shorter period of time.

The Indian Embassy has advised its citizens living in Iran to exercise extreme caution, closely monitor local developments and avoid areas with military activity, especially areas on the southern coast of Iran. It also said that the instructions of local authorities should be strictly followed.
Indian Embassy Advised to Register All Indian Nationals
The guidelines advise all Indian nationals in Iran to register with the Indian Embassy immediately. “Those who have not yet registered with the Embassy should do so immediately and regularly monitor its official website and social media channels for further information.”
