A big shock to customers from the beginning of the month. Gas cylinder price is Increased. The price of 19 kg gas cylinder has increased. 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased from Rs 1797 to Rs 1803. The price has been increased by Rs.6. From the beginning of the month, the price of the cylinder is changed by the oil company. Earlier, in the last month of February, on the budget day the price was reduced by Rs 7. However, domestic cylinder prices remain unchanged.
LPG Cylinder Prices Increased After the Budget
LPG gas cylinder prices were reduced by Rs 7 on the day of the budget i.e. February 1. That gave some relief to the customer. But since March it has increased by 6 rupees. According to the new rates, the cylinder rates have reached 1797 to 1803. In Kolkata, its price has increased from Rs 1907 to Rs 1913.
The Lowest Increase in 5 Years
In the last 5 years, the price of commercial cylinders has increased. Last year there was an increase of Rs.26. But this time it has increased by 6 rupees. It is said to be the lowest compared to last 5 years.
Domestic Cylinder Rate is Unchanged
Domestic gas cylinder or 14 kg LPG cylinder rates by oil companies remain unchanged. 2024 August 1, 2024, the rate remains constant. Domestic gas cylinder price in Delhi is Rs 803, in Mumbai Rs 802. 50 and in Kolkata it is Rs 829.
On the budget day last February, Oil Marketing Company reduced the price of 19 kg commercial cylinder by Rs 7. It was the second year in a row that gas prices fell. Commercial gas prices were reduced by Rs 14.50 last January. Every month both commercial and domestic cylinder gas prices changes.
