The route of three trains has been changed after the accident. The accident occurred on the downstream line. The restoration work is expected to be completed soon. It is worth noting that on Sunday, the Bengaluru-Guwahati Kamakhya Express derailed near Cuttack Chowdwar-Manguli station at 11.54 am. The East Coast Railway has received information that 11 bogies of the express have been derailed. The bogies from B-6 to B-14 of the train have fallen off the track. The bogies of the train have fallen off the track and landed in the nearby forest and fields. As a result, many passengers jumped off the train. It is said that the death toll may rise due to this. The railways have informed that other trains scheduled to run on this line have been cancelled.
