The ICC 2027 One Day World Cup is just 15 months away. The venues and logos have been announced. The ICC 2027 Men’s ODI Cricket World Cup will be co-hosted by South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia, featuring 14 teams, 57 matches, and a newly unveiled 12-venue format. These include famous stadiums like Wanderers Stadium, Newlands Cricket Ground, Kingsmead Cricket Ground and Boland Park. The 50-over tournament is returning to Africa after 24 years. Previously, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya hosted the eighth Men’s Cricket World Cup in 2003.
The venue for the major event was announced at a ceremony in Johannesburg. The 50-over tournament will feature 14 teams playing a total of 57 matches. The tournament will be played in a new three-leg format, which will be more exciting cricket. Australia, the 2023 winners, will be looking to defend their one-day World Cup title, which they won in India in 2023.

Harare (Harare Sports Club), Bulawayo (Queens Sports Club), and Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya International Cricket Stadium).
- Namibia (1 city)
Windhoek (Namibia Cricket Ground).
New Tournament Format
- Super Series: A 3-match qualifying pool for the three lowest-seeded teams, where the winner advances.
- Group Stage (30 matches): 12 teams split into two groups of six playing a round-robin.
- Super 7 (21 matches): Top teams advance to a single round-robin group.
- Knockouts: Semi-finals and the final.
