Now, LPG consumers of rural areas can book a second cylinder in just 25 days. The central government has implemented new rules, easing the old restrictions. As a result, families whose gas consumption is high will no longer have to face fuel shortage.

He said that “all the Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have been directed to implement the new rules immediately.”
LPG Cylinder can be Booked in 25 Days Instead of 45 Days!
LPG consumers will no longer have to wait for 45 days to rebook a gas cylinder. This period has been reduced to 25 days for consumer. Earlier, due to the 45-day rule, many ordinary families were facing unprecedented problems after running out of gas. Especially for large families, it was difficult to run for 45 days on one cylinder. Now, this revised decision of the government will directly benefit crores of LPG consumers across the country.
Earlier, the rule of booking gas after 45 days was implemented for rural areas. The new rule came into effect from Monday 7 September. This decision taken by the central government has been implemented across the country from Monday. This period has been reduced to 25 days for consumers in both rural and urban areas.
The ongoing crisis in the Middle East and the blockage of the Strait of Hormuz had led to some problems in gas supply. In view of this situation, a booking gap of 45 days was earlier imposed in rural areas and 25 days in urban areas to reduce the pressure on oil companies.
