How to Get a Learner’s Driving License?
A permanent driving license can be obtained only after getting a learner’s driving license If anyone wants to get a driving license, then he/she first has to get a learner’s driving license.This can be done both online and offline. Through online you can get a driving license from the comfort of your home.
It is worth noting here that in some states the entire process of making a learner’s driving license is completed online, while in some states this facility is not yet available. In some, after completing the online process, one has to go to the RTO for the test.
Required Documents
- Identity Documents such as Aadhar card, PAN card or voter card
- Four passport size photographs
- Address Proof such as ration card or electricity bill
How to Apply for a Driving License?
- So first go to the website parivahan.gov.in for online application.
- Click on the Drivers/Learners License section.
- Then select your state.
- Go to Apply for Learner License.
- Choose Aadhaar Authentication or Without Aadhaar option.
- Enter Aadhaar number here and verify with OTP.
- After that fill the online form and upload the documents.
- Your Learner License application will be complete after paying the fee online.
Online Test
- After this, you will have to take an online test.
- For this, go to sarathi.parivahan.gov.in and click on Online LL Test (STALL).
- Here, enter your application number, date of birth and password.
- After passing the test, you will be issued a Learner’s License.
How to Apply for Driving License(DL)?
You can apply for a permanent DL on the Sarathi portal at any time within 6 months. Here you will have to select a date for the driving test and book an appointment.
After you go to the RTO on the date you have set and take the driving test, the driving license will be in your digital document and will reach your address via post.
